ABOUT Shaune Harrison
Shaune Harrison’s fascination with prosthetic special makeup effects began at the age of thirteen while watching An American Werewolf in London after which he knew he wanted to make monsters.
Beginning his career on Clive Barker’s Nightbreed in 1988 Shaune laid the foundation for a body of work spanning over two decades on some of the world’s highest grossing blockbusters. Today Shaune is one of the most highly respected and sought after make-up effects artists in the British film industry and continues to create creatures and prosthetic make-up effects for film and television.
A key contributor to some of movie history’s most memorable characters Shaune has worked on Harry Potter’s Lord Voldemort and Mad Eye Moody, Hugo Weaving’s Red Skull from Captain America: The First Avenger as well as numerous characters for Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones , Danny Boyle’s Sunshine, Tim Burton’s Sleepy Hollow, Stardust, The Mummy, The Fifth Element and The DaVinci Code. Shaune supervised the practical creature effects on comedy horror Grabbers and worked on the Brad Pitt blockbuster World War Z and Marvel Avengers: Age of Ultron.
As well as winning accolades for his make-up effects work Shaune is also a talented writer and to date has directed four short films: The Grave, Skeleton Crew, Uninvited and Red Light, the latter of which have earned selections and awards at various festivals including the Cannes Film Festival, the New York and Los Angeles Short Film Festivals and the Sundance Film Festival.

ABOUT Paula Anne Booker-HARRISON
Paula’s love of creating art started in 1999 as a Special Effects Painter, and was soon discovered by Master Marbler & Grainer BILL HOLGATE who took her under his wing.
(She won a competition beating Artists from all over the UK which took her to Paris to work
alongside Bill and other Masters of the industry).
At the turn of the 21st century Paula diversified into the Beauty & Special Make up Effects
industry, Paula became a professional Makeup artist over the next 20 years working in the beauty, Effects and Props Industry.
Paula has recently worked on a big budget commercial out in Romania for NIVEA, BRASSIC
Season 2, PEPSI (working on a Champions League commercial) PEAKY BLINDERS Season 6
working with Shaune on creating Winston Churchill, as well as creating the creature effects for Dominic Brunt’s horror film EVIE and WOLF MANOR, Jon Wright’s creature feature UNWELCOME,
Amazon Prime’s MAMMALS, BBC’S THE RESPONDER & MIDNIGHT PEEPSHOW to name a few.
Paula teaches alongside Shaune at The Prosthetics Studio as well as working on feature films & TV shows.

EXPERIENCE
Shaune will oversee every aspect of the course and will be teaching and training the students in the same way he would on his own prosthetic films. He and his team will teach you not only skills of make up, hair and prosthetic makeup but also how to manage the budget, do the script breakdown and how to become a good self employed make up artist.
Unlike many make-up schools the course will give its students the tools, materials and most importantly the most up to date technical knowledge to give them an edge; a head start into entering the film industry as skilled professionals.

We have created courses suitable for everyone. You can learn prosthetic make-up, make-up fx in different levels – from basic to advanced professional level. You will learn how to sculpt small/medium flat prosthetics, how to mould using different types of materials, how to make silicon appilances, apply and paint them. You don’t need any previous experience to join us as all our courses are adapted to our students needs and abilities.
